Donate food

Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.

Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.

Our shopping list shows the food items that we need right now.

We are still very much in need of non-perishable food donations (and toiletries/pet food also welcomed) and these can be dropped off at our centre at The Stable Centre, Church Street, Mansfield Woodhouse between 1.30 and 3.45 on Mondays & Thursdays.
If you cannot deliver your donations to us then please leave a message on our phone number 07563 233652 and we will contact you to make arrangements.

If you are happy to drop off food donations, please see the table below for our food collection point locations,

When dropping off your donation at a supermarket please make sure that it is marked clearly as being from you rather than the supermarket’s own customers purchasing from their store. This enables us to accurately account for the different types of donations. Put your donation is a separate, secured bag.

We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis. Occasionally we send food to other nearby foodbanks to support their work particularly if they experience shortages. This ensures your donations go to help people wherever in the UK they are.

Please contact us if you have any questions about donating food.
